After we finally finished the walk through history, we went out to 2 PARKS FOR THE PRICE OF 1. We’ve been meaning to do this one for a few days now, but it’s been a little too late to add another one on when we’ve been near it. Tonight was the night. It was a fairly easy find. The geocaching.com said there was a geocoin in the cache, we didn’t see one. Somebody must have taken it and not logged it . This cache was the first one we came across that had a disposible camera in it. We took a quick picture of ourselves. We took a toy car and left a mini-flashlight.

The hint we got the other night from paul8178 about the lone pine also had information about the Riverside Park Walk through history. We also got a message from the cache owner, shadowwalker75. So, we decided to go back and try that one again tonight. We did finally manage to find the first clue on the ground near where it was supposed to be. Not sure how we missed it the first night. Anyway, we got the next set of coordniates for it and put it back where it should be. The route took us deeper into the woods than any we’ve been to yet, but we managed to find all 4 clues plus the final cache.  The clue we got from paul8178 gave us the hint to find the third hint, but to be honest, I’m not sure that if we didn’t have the coordinates we would have keep trudging through the thick grass to get that far. This cache was also the first time we’ve really noticed the bugs while out there. All-in-all it was a good hour+ of hiking through the woods. We took two bowling passes and left a red carabiner.
